Dr. Bruce Robertson is a managing director of H.I.G. Ventures and focuses on investment opportunities in the life sciences sector. He has extensive experience in life science investments and early stage investments in information technology and business services in the US, India, and China. Prior to his venture capital career, Robertson was Director of Business Development at IGEN International and a Research Manager at W.R. Grace & Co. He is on the boards of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association, Shady Grove Hospital and the University of Delaware Research Foundation. Robertson has earned an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, a PhD in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering from the University of Delaware, and a BSE in Chemical Engineering and BA in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
